I will endeavor not to make a spoilers in the review, but sufficive to say that any preconceptions you had from watching the trailer as to what the move would feature, you’re probably going to get a big surprise.

The film is a frankly brilliant and divine blending of the animation styles we find in our beloved television series, as well as the quaintly named 2.5D graphics we often saw in Futurama.

The musical accompaniment to the film is superb from the out set, with music orchestrated by the wonderfully talented Hans Zimmer that gives the traditional theme a new life, as well as the up beat delivery by Green Day, joining seamlessly with the more grand style.

The movie is one gag after another. delivered at such a rate that I was in hysterics at least every 2 minutes and was even laughing at the end while the credits rolled and I walked out of the cinema (maybe partially to do with the music used for the credit roll).

The Simpsons at the their finest. And I’ve already booked tickets to go see it again.

FIVE FREAKING STARS!

Okay, firstly, thanks to you my growing readership. I love you all this much (I would draw a picture of me holding my arms ridiculously far our but I’m too busy / lazy).

I’ve been away from the interent for several reasons. One very personal reason that I don’t want to share, one particularly cool reason which you will see later on and one absolutely bitchin’ and awesome reason of amazement it will make you load in your pants, but I can’t tell you yet :3

I’ve been developing a new site with several peeps aimed at combing our visual and audio creations with the opinions and ideas of the community. It is a pretty advanced project, combining all the popular media platforms, such as FLash, Quicktime etc.

To that end I’ve been drawing things and come up with this:
Me Cartooned

I’m doing a groups of us muscled up. By us, I mean; Simon Rickards, David Lamb, Steve Goodall and myself. And if you don’t know these people, you suck.

Okay, so I need to cut this short, so see ya.

:3

So I haven’t been online / posting any blogs recently for one very, unfortunate, reason – my internet was taken offline by my service provider [BT Broadband]. All be it for some amazingly, stupednous upgrades, but still, an annoyance.

However, in my subsequent downtime for the virtual world of you people, I have been busy. I have been filming most of the past week in various ways, or if not filming, editing, or if not editing, writing.

I have completed, with the aid of my awesome cast and helpers, the shooting for the music video, which will now enable me to go through the long process of editing, dubbing and distrtibuting.

I have another, but not final, production blog to go up in the next two days with some more info.

Now. E3. The Electronics Entertainment Expo.

Halo 3.

These are things that on their own, I adore. But when put together, only good things can happen, and happen they have.

With this years E3 well under way, we have been granted many wonderful sights. Most wonderful of all, in my opinion at least, is the release of a Halo 3 Campaign Trailer and a Halo 3 short film, both of which can be found at http://bungie.net.

Being the eager beaver I am I downloaded the HD versions of both files and promptly examined them.

While I made some findings, the most interesting oens can be found on Bungie’s Halo 3 Forum. However, I have taken the liberty of grabbing some of the more interesting screens from the video which are ideal as backgrounds. I hope you like them and want to use them.

So yeah. That’s all from me for now.

See ya soon – Justin!

God Hates British Film Makers.
Fact.

I have never experienced more bad luck on a shooting day in my life.

The second we go outside, rain, second we go inside, sun.

Anyway. Enjoy.

I’ve uploaded the first production blog for the Mahna Mahna music video to my YouTube channel, and embedded it below. Hope you like it.

[EDIT - 2/7 at 20:51]

I’ve been out and I’ve taken some still images of the locations / camera angles for reference and placed them below.
