I thought I’d post some art that I’ve been working for my media portfolio that currently consists of my Comic Art study (as shown below) some script and storybaord breakdown of my better films (along with a DVD of them) and my better photgraphy work.
I’m palying around with some of the line-art and shading on these, as well as getting underway with my Star Girl, Flash, J’hon J’honz, Green Lantern and Batman artwork.

The purpose of this is three-fold. One, to generate awareness of this blog and hopefully get people to view movies and shorts I produce with my cohorts and other YouTube peoples. Two, to try and give people a giggle on their weekend. And three, to try and force myself into a regular blogging routine.

As some people may have noticed, I have changed my theme to a new, ‘Journalist’ theme. Or as some of you little hip young people would put it;

But I digress. I now own a Xbox 360 Elite. Woohoo! I’m going to rip apart my old one for skits and giggles and turn its various gizmos and circuits into weird things for my desk.
So guess who’s sitting on my media unit now:
I would turn the CPU/GPU Cooler into a drinks cooler. but I fear it may overheat, melt partially and have to be sent back with £99 for repairs. Ha.
I’m not at all bitter. I am however eager to pop down to GameStation tomorrow to get my GTA: IV fixed (again) and then pop off to Game to have them copy over all my info and such from my old 20GB HDD to my new 120GB HDD. Then it’s turn of my Xbox Live to finally get some attention and be renewed.
All in all, not too shabby a time for me at the mo.

Well, the week started on a high note. Last three days of schoolage (in which myself and others paraded around the sciecen and computer rooms, holding high our short (but lovable :3) teacher Mr Cutlian who sadly leaves us [picture below]:
As the week progressed, all seemed right in the world. Me and Tom of the Skas uploaded our videos from our previous weekend’s trip to London Film and Comic Con with some other people, the videos and piccies can be found on the page at the top of the site.
However, got some less than happy news on Wednesday informing me that my placement at a media house this summer had been bounced back because of various circumstances (involving a Technical Director going away and there being no work!)
Did filming with the guys on Thursday which mainly involved me being whacked round the head repeatedly (and painfully thanks to Adam) but was all in all pretty fun. On that note, we will be finishing out Filminute entry soon and be uploading out newest Adam Owns Justin piece.
On the Friday, I got my GTA: IV disk fixed at my local GameStation (cheers big Paul for doing for freesies) and returned home, also ladened with some new CSI, CSI:NY and Doctor Who DVDs. However, happieness ends today when I realise that my newly fixed disk has been scratched once again by my evil first line Xbox 360.
Of course the warranty has expired (Even outside the special extended 3 year one – it’s that old) so I have resolved to purcahse a new Xbox 360 Elite. Plus, new HDMI Compatible 360. Cons, cost, new HDD to copy info too and more disks to fix.
All in all…..not that bad but not that good. Enjoy some movies form me and the Toms.
